Our Carpet Stain Removal Guide

Treat spills and stains immediately. The longer a spot remains, the more difficult it is to remove. Blot up spills with clean, white absorbent towels. Remove solids with a rounded spoon. If necessary, proceed with spot removal agents as indicated in this guide. Always be sure to test cleaning agents in an inconspicuous area to guard against color change or transfer (Publishers accept no responsibility for damages incurred as a result of use of these procedures). Do not over wet. Blot frequently. Do not rub or brush carpet. Work from outer edge of stain towards the centre to prevent rings. After stain is removed, rinse with water, then absorb all moisture with towels. Place clean towel over wet area. Place heavy object like books on top of towel. Leave overnight. Be patient. Some stains respond slowly. Note:No carpet is stain proof. These procedures will help to reduce or remove stains, but are not guaranteed to completely remove all stains.
